Comments: A culvert under the Eyak Lake weir access road is severely perched by approximately two meters. The stream on the upstream side of the culvert is highly segmented and looks to rely on flood events to connect pools to allow out-migration for juvenile salmonids. There is no option for upstream migration for adults due to the perched culvert but they are able to pass in a different area down Eyak River (Currin Slough). We deployed metal minnow traps baited with cured roe and caught 7 juvenile Coho and 60 Stickleback in this farthest upstream trap.
