Comments: While flying fish surveys for the Pyramid Project, Habitat Biologists Amber Stephens and Crystal Moenaert observed salmon carcasses much farther up than the current upper reach of anadromy. Ground surveys along the main channel as well as a small tributary (55.602779, -160.739901) confirmed pink salmon adults spawning and redds (5 on the main channel, and 3 in the tributary were confirmed). There were active bear trails along the main channel and tributary with approximately 50 pink salmon carcasses. A map is attached because the coordinates taken don't match up with the current imagery.Pictures attached are not the best.
