Comments: On 8/30/2025, Habitat Biologists Amber Stephens and Crystal Moenaert conducted a fish survey at this location on Portage Creek using a backpack electrofisher. We efished for 461 seconds and caught and measured: 3 slimy sculpin measuring 78-83 mm, 1 Dolly Varden 65mm, and 2 coho salmon juveniles 66 and 78 mm. We had visual observations of 3 additional sculpins, 2 Dolly Varden, and one salmonid juvenile. This extends the upper reach of anadromy on Portage Creek and adds Dolly Varden.
