Comments: Habitat Biologist Amber Stephens set fish traps upstream and downstream of the culvert at MP 9.7 on Lake Aleknagik Road to look for fish presence. The traps soaked for 16 hours using cured salmon eggs. 53 juvenile coho (48-70 mm) were caught in the pool on the downstream side, and 1 coho (105 mm) was caught upstream. The culvert is perched ~4 inches on the downstream side.
