Comments: We caught six Humpback Whitefish (Coregonus pidschian) in spawning condition. All fish had tubercles on their head and had gravid eggs or milt, which was easily expressed when handling each Humpback Whitefish. Fish were caught while drift electrofishing in a raft. Fish were captured on an inside bend in clear water over cobble substrate and appeared to be holding in place. Numerous Arctic Grayling (Thymallus Arcticus) were stacked up immediately downstream of Humpback Whitefish and we captured 11 Arctic Grayling, which also seemed to be holding in place downstream of Humpback Whitefish.
