Comments: Please see attached correspondence. Two ADF&G biologists (Chad Bear and Jay Baumer) and their photos with identifiable features (three supraoral teeth) corroborate observations of adult Pacific Lamprey being caught in fish wheels on the Kuskokwim River. Several adults were captured in 2005, large lampreys had been caught in other years. Also add Arctic Lamprey. Their observations of smaller Arctic Lamprey in the Kuskokwim fish wheel is further supported by well known local commercial/subsistence fisheries for Arctic Lamprey harvested by communities including Tuluksak.
