Comments: This is side slough of Moose Creek. It appeared to be spring fed and partially intersected with Moose Creek at 61.67679, -149.04014, then went subsurface at 61.67368, -149.03912. I walked downstream from the Matanuska River Trail to the intersection of the slough and the Matanuska River. I saw the most upstream fish, a chum carcass at 61.67849, -149.04057. I saw the most upstream coho, a live adult, at 61.677800, -149.040864. In the entire slough, I counted 16 coho, and 23 chum. Near the mouth of the slough, many coho had become stranded by falling water levels. Attached gpx track of slough.
