Comments: I observed a total of about 25 juvenile coho salmon in two off channel pools. The leading edges of the dorsal and anal fins had white then black. The caudal and anal fins were orange. The clear water pools were located at 57.84243, -152.76643 and 57.84065,-152.76637. The lower reach of the stream was low gradient with pool/riffle habitat. I am a retired Forest Service Fisheries Technician and ADF&G Habitat Biologist with over 30 years of field expertise. I located the correct outlet location of New Creek at 57.84392, -152.76773.
